Features and Functions

  • Field Level Help
Position cursor or mouse on a field and press F1 or the Help key to obtain Field Level Help text for the Field selected.  
  • Screen Level Help
  Position cursor or mouse outside of any field and press F1 or the Help key to obtain Screen Level Help text for the Screen selected.  
  • Help Text Maintenance
Follow the 3 easy steps to update Help Text:
  1. Position cursor or mouse on a Field press F1 or the Help key to view Field Level Help text. 
  2. If you have proper Authority clearance the F9 key is displayed, press it to update the Field Level Help Text.
  3. Make any additions or changes to the Help Text and press enter to complete the process.
  • Security
End-users can be set-up with view only or view and update authority.
  • Multi-level Help Text
Set-up Help Text at an end-user level, programmer level and supervisory level. This kind of flexibility allows complete technical and non-technical documentation to be incorporated into any program.
  • Multi-language Help Text
Support multiple languages from within the same Help Text system. Provide Authority to end-users based on their language requirements.
